Baqubah / NINA / -A joint force has launched a security operation to pursue high- value targets in the sector south of Baqubah, the capital of Diyala Governorate.
A security source told the National Iraqi News Agency (NINA) that a joint force, supported by intelligence units, initiated a raid-and-search operation in the sector south of Buhriz and its surrounding agricultural areas.
The source noted that the operation covered five agricultural zones as part of a plan to track down key targets—most notably sleeper cells and individuals wanted by the judiciary—and to carry out security redeployment./ End
