Ghalibaf warns Washington of "catastrophic consequences" should it opt for a military path
Baghdad/NINA/ — Iranian Parliament Speaker Mohammad Baqer Ghalibaf stated on Thursday that American society would face catastrophic consequences if Washington were to decide to return to a military option.
Writing on his account on the platform "X," Ghalibaf stated: "If you believe that a war with Iran would be to your benefit, you are deluded."
He added: "Such a choice would entail at least ten bitter consequences—ranging from the collapse of financial markets and the loss of fighter jets, to mounting debt, soaring inflation, and an increase in the number of your soldiers killed in battle."
Ghalibaf emphasized that "each of these consequences would be catastrophic for American society. You are not compelled to take this path; however, should you choose it, you will have to bear all the repercussions." /End
