General Manager of Samsung Electronics Levant, Jung-Ho Kang, stated: "This agreement marks an important new phase in our collaboration with Asiacell, strengthening our ability to bring the latest Samsung devices and innovations to a broader segment of subscribers across Iraq. By combining Samsung’s technological leadership with Asiacell’s market reach and expertise in customer service, we aim to provide individuals and companies with more choices, flexible purchasing options, and solutions that meet their growing needs."
He added: "We are moving forward with our vision to build an AI-powered organization, and partnerships of this caliber will help us ensure our subscribers remain constantly connected to what the future holds."
CEO of Asiacell, Amer Al-Sunna, stated: "This partnership goes beyond the mere provision of devices; it contributes to accelerating the construction of Iraq’s digital future. At Asiacell, we believe that advanced global technologies should be within reach of every Iraqi. By combining our extensive presence across Iraq and our deep market knowledge—bolstered by our growing AI-driven capabilities—with Samsung’s global innovations, we are bringing these technologies closer to both individuals and businesses."
Under this strategic partnership, Samsung devices will be made available through Asiacell’s dedicated channels for individual and business customers, via specialized programs that offer subscribers greater purchasing flexibility and a wider range of options.
The collaboration includes a device trade-in program, allowing eligible subscribers to exchange their current devices and apply their residual value toward the purchase of a new Samsung device. The partnership will also offer tailored financing and installment plans, making it easier and more convenient to acquire new devices.
For business-sector subscribers, Asiacell and Samsung will collaborate to develop B2B solutions and explore new business opportunities that address the needs of organizations across various sectors.
The agreement includes specialized financing programs supported by Samsung Knox Guard—a solution designed for device management and security. As part of this partnership, the two companies will launch a "Samsung Certified Sales Consultant" program, designed to enhance the product knowledge of sales teams and enable them to provide better, information-driven support to subscribers when selecting Samsung devices and solutions.
The collaboration also extends to digital channels and e-commerce, with both companies working to strengthen the presence of Samsung products on Asiacell’s digital store. Other initiatives include an Employee Purchase Program (EPP), joint marketing and promotional campaigns, exclusive bundles combining devices and services, and offers tailored to various subscriber segments.
This strategic partnership establishes a robust framework for developing joint offerings, services, and solutions designed to meet the needs of both individual consumers and the business sector. / End
