Oil Prices Rise As Brent Crude Approaches Its Highest Level In Five Months
Brent crude futures climbed 55 cents, or 0.50%, to $110.10 per barrel, while U.S. West Texas Intermediate (WTI) crude for November delivery rose 0.24% to $103.91 per barrel. The more actively traded December contract also gained 39 cents, or 0.40%, to reach $98.93 per barrel.
Analysts said oil prices continue to receive strong support from geopolitical risks, noting that uninterrupted oil flows could gradually ease the risk premium. /End
